Jin: He won’t make a big deal out of it, I think. Like, you’ll be coming home from a late night at work, and the door will be unlocked, and you’ll smell Jin’s cooking. So he won’t tell you, just to surprise you, but he won’t make it very extravagant. He’ll be very casual about it.
Yoongi: He will want to make it a tiny bit special, but not too much. So he will make sure to be home before you. He’ll probably put some Christmas music on, and then order some take out in time to put it on plates right before you get home. He would have considered to take you out for dinner, since it’s Christmas and all. But he’d decide against that, because he’ll want you for himself all night since he isn’t home much usually either.
Hobi: He’ll be similar to Yoongi, I think. He’ll make it a tiny bit special, but he won’t be too over the top about it. He might take you out to a restaurant, but I honestly think it’s more likely that he’ll want the two of you to cook together. Like, he’ll be waiting for you at home to surprise you, and then he’ll cuddle you for a bit before deciding that the two of you should get started on dinner.
Namjoon: He’s definitely taking you out to a restaurant. He’s no cook, and he doesn’t want you to cook for the two of you on such a special night. And I do think he’d try to make it a bit more of a special occasion than his hyungs. He’d probably make sure to come home after you, so he can just knock on the door, dressed in something fancy with a bag with your outfit for the night, and a Christmas present for later.
Jimin: He’d be the type to buy flowers for you, and pay the company to deliver it to your doorstep, and the flowers would have a note on them that says how sorry he is that he can’t be with you over Christmas. And later that night you will get a text from him asking if you got the present he had sent you. Not the flowers, but another present that should have arrived today. And when you go to check by your door again, he’ll be standing there with pizza, a bunch of movies, and a neatly wrapped present on top of it.
Taehyung: He’ll want to make it fun. And you never quite know with him, but I think there’s a possibility that he’d make it a scavenger hunt of sorts. Like, he’ll arrive at your place earlier than you, and write a bunch of notes with clues, that he’d place everywhere. He’d then go and hide somewhere, waiting for you to find him. Of course you’d be terrified, because he hadn’t signed the notes, so you didn’t know it was him.
Jungkook: He’d keep it simple, and kind of cheesy. Like, he’ll wait until he knows for sure that you’re home, and then he’ll text you that he misses you, and that he’s sorry that he can’t spend Christmas with you. And after a few texts, he’ll tell you to open the door, and he’ll be standing there, in a suit and a bunch of flowers in his hands, along with a present. And then he’d take you out for dinner to some expensive place, just to spoil you, before cuddling all night at home.
